The Office of Admissions has multiple job openings for current Iowa State undergraduate students. Our student employees work on real-life projects to support recruiting, admitting, and enrolling students to Iowa State. In addition to gaining valuable and marketable work experience, we will work with interested students and their advisers to determine if internship credit may be granted.

We are looking for students interested in continuous employment as these positions run during the school year and throughout the summer.

 
Projects range from web application development, maintaining integrations with other systems, and Salesforce related software development. These projects include updating existing applications, building new web applications, writing back-end software/processing scripts, and building/interfacing with various APIs.
 
Some of the languages and tools you will gain valuable experience with are:
  • PHP & PhpStorm, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap
  • MySQL and other relational database systems
  • Linux shell environment

Applicants must be full time undergraduate students at Iowa State University with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.2 and must maintain a 2.0 or above while working for the Office of Admissions.

 

Projects range from configuration of Salesforce dashboards and page layouts, administration of business objects, configuring Processes and Workflows, and maintaining integrations with other systems.
 
Some of the languages and tools you will gain valuable experience with are:
  • Salesforce Process Builder and Flow Builder
  • Programming languages like AmpScript, APEX & PHP
  • Marketing Cloud

Applicants must be full time undergraduate students at Iowa State University with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.2 and must maintain a 2.0 or above while working for the Office of Admissions.
