Transfer Student Visit Days

If you're thinking of transferring to Iowa State, we encourage you to attend one of our Transfer Student Visit Days. Staff and students are on hand to address your specific questions and show you around. Small group sessions give you a chance to talk with other transfer students.

Transfer Student Visit Days are designed to give you a chance to learn more about the campus and Iowa State's academics and student services. You'll leave knowing whether Iowa State is a good fit for you.

If you have already applied, been offered admission, and need to register for classes, then Orientation may be a better choice for you.

  • 8:45 am-9:55 am - Welcome/Enrollment Information/Student Panel
  • 10:00 am-10:50 am - Campus Tour or Financial Aid Information Session
  • 11:00 am-12:00 pm - Complimentary Lunch
  • 12:10 pm-1:00 pm - College Information Session
  • 1:10 pm-2:00 pm - Academic Information Session
  • 2:20 pm-4:20 pm - Optional Activities

If you are interested in the Veterinary Medicine Tour, the College of Vet Med offers select weekday tours during the fall and spring semesters. Please work with Vet Med directly to schedule the tour. You will receive your confirmation materials from them. We suggest you schedule your Vet Med tour at 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm to ensure your Experience Iowa State day runs smoothly. Please contact Vet Med directly with any questions you have regarding the tour.
