Group Visits

If you have a group of 10 or more students in 8th grade or older who are looking for a great educational opportunity bring them to Iowa State University for a day!

Visit Program

Upon arrival, your group will be greeted by an admissions representative and given information about Iowa State. Your group has several options after that - campus tours, college tours or exploring on your own. Below is a list of optional tours many other groups have enjoyed.

Lunch

Group members can eat on their own at the nearby restaurants in Campus Town or on campus in the residence halls or Memorial Union Food Court. Cost to eat in a residence hall is $6.75 per person. Payment for residence hall dining service should be made with one check upon arrival (payable to Iowa State University).

Registration Information

The Office of Admissions welcomes groups to visit on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Use the Group Visit Reservation form to register for open Group Visit days on the Group Visit Calendar.

For other days, or if you choose not to register online, please call us at 800 262-3810 and we'll take your information over the phone. Please register at least two weeks before you visit. We will send you an itinerary and directions.
