Prospective APP Students

There are many benefits to enrolling in APP. Some of these benefits include:

• Mentoring and academic advising from both institutions from the time that you are accepted into APP.
• Opportunity to live in Iowa State University housing.
• Obtain an Iowa State University student identification card and e-mail address.
• Work out at Iowa State recreational facilities, be a part of an Iowa State student organization, and ride CyRide fare-free.*
• Attend athletic and selected cultural events at discounted Iowa State student rates. APP participants should contact the appropriate ticket office to purchase event tickets.*
• Utilize Iowa State's career related programs including career fairs and workshops.
• Access to the University library.

* These options require that you have an Iowa State University student identification card and that you pay an optional student activity fee of $97.50 per semester. Fees are subject to change. To take advantage of this option, you must first contact Tuition & Fee Assessment at 515 294-1889 or in 0460 Beardshear so that the activity fee is assessed. Once assessed, the payment can then be sent to the treasurer's office, 1220 Beardshear.
