Chartered Bus Trip

Minnesota Thanksgiving Break - November 20-29, 2009 - Minnesota

Do you need a ride home to the Minnesota/Minneapolis area for Minnesota Thanksgiving Break? Iowa State University's Office of New Student Programs is sponsoring a chartered bus for students living in the Twin Cities area.

Cost: $55.00 round trip (check/cash/U-bill). Advanced reservations and prepayment required. NOTE: Payment is non-refundable unless the bus is not full and the trip is cancelled. Price is subject to change without notice.

Trip Schedule

Departing Ames - November 20, 2009

Buses will leave from the west side of the Memorial Union (on the street across from Lake Laverne) on Friday at 5:30 p.m Please be prompt. (If we leave later, then you get home even later!) Approximate arrival times are listed below.

Arrival in Minnesota - November 20-21, 2009

• 7:30 p.m. - Albert Lea (TravelCenter of America, at I-90 & I-35, Exit #11)
• 8:45 p.m. - Burnsville (Transit Station at NE corner of Hwy 13 & Nicolete Ave.)
• 9:00 p.m. - Bloomington (28th Avenue Light Rail Station, North Side, Transit Bus Stop)
• 9:30 p.m. - St. Paul (Best Western Kelly Inn, 161 St. Anthony Avenue)
• 10:00 p.m. - Roseville (Rosedale Mall, SE outer lot near Herberger’s)

Departing Minnesota - November 29, 2009

The bus will return to Iowa State on Sunday, November 29th with approximate pick-up times as follows:

• 11:30 a.m. - Roseville (Rosedale Mall, SE outer lot near Herberger’s)
• 12:00 p.m. - St. Paul (Best Western Kelly Inn, 161 St. Anthony Avenue)
• 12:35 p.m. - Bloomington (28th Avenue Light Rail Station, North Side, Transit Bus Stop)
• 1:00 p.m. - Burnsville (Transit Station at NE corner of Hwy 13 & Nicolete Ave.)
• 2:15 p.m. - Albert Lea (TravelCenter of America, at I-90 & I-35, Exit #11)

Additional Information

The Midwest chartered buses will be parked on the west side of the Memorial Union (across from the lake). Please arrive at the loading area approximately 20 minutes ahead of time to allow for loading. There is a videotape system on the bus to play your favorite movies-- bring one along!

Due to limited space, we ask that you bring no more than two (2) bags and one (1) carry-on. No major electronics (i.e. stereos, monitors, televisions, etc), pets, or bicycles are allowed. Neither Midwest Coaches nor Iowa State University are responsible for damage to personal property.
