Majors and Programs

The Environment

You recycle everything from aluminum cans to milk cartons. The outdoors is your natural habitat, so you spend most of your vacations camping, hiking, or photographing wildlife. Your concern for the environment does not stop with your Save the Whales T-shirt, but includes real-life issues, like wetland preservation, sustainable agriculture, erosion control, and hazardous waste management. Regardless of the field you choose, you see yourself as an advocate for preserving natural resources. Iowa State will prepare you for leadership in this dynamic and rapidly developing field of environmental studies.
